Akhilesh Yadav trapped by tweeting on Nupur Sharma, NCW wrote a letter saying – action should be taken immediately

Taking cognizance of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's tweet on suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, the National Commission for Women has demanded immediate action against Akhilesh. The Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, while complaining in writing to the UP government, said that the matter should be investigated and action should be taken against Akhilesh Yadav.

Letter written to DCP

NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma has written a letter to the Director General of Police of Uttar Pradesh and has demanded action against Akhilesh Yadav. He has appealed to the Yogi government to take action against Akhilesh within 3 days. The Women's Commission demanded action against Akhilesh Yadav under sections 504, 506, 509 of the IPC for commenting on Nupur Sharma. 

Retweeting Akhilesh Yadav's tweet in a tweet, he said, 'Look at this man who calls himself the leader of a party. This is inciting people to attack Nupur Sharma. I am writing a letter to UP Police and DGP demanding action against them. There is an appeal to the Supreme Court to take suo motu cognizance in the matter.
