Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival in Rajouri on the second day. Shah said that after the arrival of PM Modi, the way has been paved for getting reservations for the hill people. Shah further said that the central government has recommended reservations for the hill people. During this, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Jitendra Singh Tomar were also present.
He also visited Mata Vaishno Devi temple. The Home Minister said that since January, 1 crore 62 lakh tourists have come to Jammu and Kashmir. 4766 terrorist incidents are the figures before the abrogation of Article 370.
