Coronavirus: Covid situation out of control in North Korea, more than 17 lakh people are positive

The havoc of Corona is increasing rapidly in North Korea. About 17 lakh people are corona positive here. On Tuesday, 2,69,510 new corona patients were found here. Six people have died during 24 hours due to corona infection. 

According to information received from the State Emergency Epidemic Prevention Headquarters, there are now 1483060 corona infected patients in the country. So far, 819090 patients have been cured across the country and 663910 patients are being treated in the hospital.

Reason for increase in cases

Experts say that there is a shortage of diagnostic kits for testing corona infected patients in North Korea. On Sunday, 15 deaths were recorded in North Korea. At the same time, 42 people have died due to mysterious fever. According to the Korean Central News Agency, the total number of flu cases in the country has crossed 8 lakhs. At the same time, about 3 lakh new cases have been reported.

The World Health Organization has said that it is ready to do everything possible to bring North Korea out of this epidemic.The cases of corona coming up in the country are mostly related to Omicron variants. In view of the Corona epidemic, National Chief Kim Jong Un had called an important meeting of the Workers' Party. all the officers and ministers were asked to take strict steps to prevent the corona epidemic. He made it clear that any kind of negligence would not be tolerated in this.

Lockdown Imposed

A nationwide lockdown has been imposed in North Korea to fight corona infection. This decision can have an impact on the economy of the country. In addition, North Korea has to face UN sanctions over its nuclear program and its own mismanagement.

Kim has ordered the army to ensure that the supply of medicines is uninterrupted across the country. After his order, the army has come out on the streets and is following the order. Kim Jong Un himself also visited many places on Sunday to take stock of the situation of medicines in the country.
