Coronavirus India Update: Surge in new corona cases in India, 20,557 cases registered in last 24 hours

Number of active cases increased to 1,45,654

There are currently 0.33 percent active cases of the total infected in the country, with a rate of recovery from corona infection in the country of 98.47 percent.

Corona epidemic started from China at the end of 2019

By March 2020, the corona virus infection, which originated in Wuhan, China, had engulfed the entire world. In India, the number of infected people reached 20 lakh on 7 August 2020, 30 lakh on 23 August, and 40 lakh on 5 September. By September 16, it had reached 50 lakhs, which had risen to 60 lakhs by the end of the month. By the end of October, the corona infection had surpassed 80 lakhs, 90 lakhs by the end of November, and one crore by the end of December.
