Corona Update Today: In the last 24 hours, India has seen 13,216 new instances of the novel coronavirus, including 23 deaths as a result of the infection. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday (June 18), the country experienced a total of 8,148 discharges in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall recovery rate to roughly 98.64 percent and total recoveries to 4,26,90,845.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in India has climbed to 68,108, according to data released today by the health ministry. There were 63,063 active cases registered yesterday.

Active Cases
In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload has grown by 5,045 cases. According to the ministry, active cases account for 0.15 percent of all infections.
The country's total death toll today stands at 5,24,840. The first death from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.
On June 18, the daily positive rate is 2.73 percent.
