Covid 4th Wave: Corona havoc in India, increased strictness in these states

Due to the increasing cases of corona infection, the period of restrictions in the country is slowly returning. From Kerala to Goa, the government has started taking strict action. Along with this, emphasis has been laid on 'Testing, Tracking and Treatment'.

Corona Cases in India

In the last 24 hours, 3303 new cases of corona have been reported. Earlier on Tuesday, 2,927 new cases of corona were reported. At the same time, 32 people died from Corona. Active cases in India have increased to 16980. This is 0.04% of the total cases. 

The recovery rate in India is still 98.74%. In the last 24 hours, 2563 patients have been cured of corona. So far a total of 4.25 crore people have been cured of corona. Daily positivity rate is 0.66%. At the same time, the weekly positivity rate is 0.61%.

School assembly, sports closed in Jharkhand 

In view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 in Jharkhand, schools have been instructed to close morning assemblies, cultural programs and sports. School premises, classrooms, libraries, laboratories and dining halls have also been asked to be cleaned with 1% sodium hypochlorite solution. The department has directed that the process of sanitization should be done every 15 days in the entire school.

Corona peak soon in Delhi-Haryana 

Cases are increasing continuously in Delhi and Haryana. The University of Cambridge has said in its report that in the coming two-three weeks, corona infection will be at its peak. The analysis said that at the national level, there has been a decrease in the daily case speed over the past few days, with the volatility being much less compared to the Omicron wave, which is of little relief.
