Pankaj Kumar Singh Appointed as Deputy National Security Advisor

According to a notification from the Government, Pankaj Kumar Singh, the former director general of the Border Security Force (BSF), is appointed as India's deputy national security advisor (Dy NSA) on Tuesday. According to the order, the 1988-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from the Rajasthan cadre, who led the BSF until December 31 of last year before retiring, has been appointed as Dy NSA on a two-year re-employment contract. 


First G20 Health Working Group Meet Held at Kerala 

The Union Health Ministry said today that the first Health Working Group meeting under India's G20 leadership will take place in Thiruvananthapuram from January 18–20. The three goals for India's G20 presidency in terms of health are tracking health emergencies, preparedness, and response, enhancing collaboration in the pharmaceutical industry, and developing digital health innovations and solutions, according to the ministry. 


Manufacturing Of AK-203 Assualt Rifles Begins In Uttar Pradesh

The Kalashnikov AK-203 assault weapon is now being produced in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, by an Indo-Russian joint venture, giving the Indian armed forces more firepower. AK-203 rifles will only be produced in India, according to proposals by Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited. In the future, the business might also boost output and modernise its manufacturing facilities to build upgraded guns based on the Kalashnikov assault rifle platform, according to a statement from Rostec State Corporation.
