Russia To Send Belarus Nuclear-Capable Missiles

President Vladimir Putin announced during his meeting with Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus that Russia will provide missiles with nuclear warheads to Belarus in the upcoming months. The news broke on the eve of the G7 summit, which will be held in Germany on Sunday and will be hosted by Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the Bavarian Alps. The summit is expected to be dominated by the situation in Ukraine and its wide-ranging effects, which range from energy shortages to a food crisis.
 

National Statistics Day 2022

National Statistics Day is a day observed in India to honour the scientist and statistician Prof. P C Mahalanobis on his birthday and to raise awareness among the youth about the use of statistics in socio-economic planning and policy making. In 2007, the first National Statistics Day was established. P. C. Mahalanobis built a statistical laboratory when the Indian Statistical Institute was first formed in 1931.
 

Single-use plastic items to be banned in India from July 1

 
India will outlaw all single-use plastic products as of July 1. The government has declared that a rigorous nationwide ban on the production, importation, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of specific single-use plastic items with poor utility and high potential for littering will be put into effect
The country was informed in August 2021 that single-use plastic (SUP) products would be phased out by July 1, 2022. The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change issued a notification on August 12 of last year banning the production, importation, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of several SUP commodities, including polystyrene and expanded polystyrene, effective of July 1, 2022.
