Furious about the arrest of the head of the IT cell, Akhilesh Yadav arrived at the UP Police Headquarters

The chief of the IT cell for the main opposition party SP in Uttar Pradesh has been taken into custody by the UP police. The Hazrat Ganj police in Lucknow have detained Manish Jagan Agarwal. 

Akhilesh Yadav lashed out on the Police

According to reports, when Akhilesh Yadav arrived at the police headquarters incensed about the arrest of SP's IT chief Manish Jagan Agarwal, the senior police officers began asking him for tea. Akhilesh Yadav claimed that he would not sip tea in response to this. We won't be drinking tea here, he declared. We will grab your cup and bring our own (tea). Will you give us poison since we can't drink? We do not accept it. We'll place an outside order.

BJP leader had filed a case

A lady office bearer for the BJP Yuva Morcha in Uttar Pradesh filed a case on January 6 on the Twitter account of the SP media cell in Hazratganj Kotwali, alleging rape and threats of murder. This handle is operated by Manish Jagan Agarwal. The SP sought Manish Jagan Agarwal's immediate release, calling his arrest a disgrace.
