Gyanvapi Mosque Survey: Survey continues in Gyanvapi Mosque, heavy police force deployed. Shringar Gauri Mandir

The survey inside the Gyanvapi Mosque, located next to the Kashi Vishwanath temple, is starting from today, May 14. Heavy police deployment has been seen in the area to avoid any untoward incident. This comes in the wake of the Varanasi court seeking a report by May 17. 

The survey team arrived again on Saturday morning after the Supreme Court refused to ban survey and videography at Gyanvapi Masjid. On the orders of the civil judge, the survey was started again from today. Already, this information was given by the court by sending a letter to the concerned parties as well as the DM and the Police Commissioner. 

The district administration has appealed to maintain peace and order during the survey by holding a meeting with the people of Hindu and Muslim side. The survey work started at 8 am today. The survey report will be presented in the court on May 17.

Lawyer were also present 

Earlier, around 7.35 am, the advocate appointed by the court came out of the Commissioner Chowk police station. Along with the Advocate Commissioner, there were also Special Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners. Amidst tight security, the Advocate Commissioner and others reached Gyanvapi Masjid for the survey. 

Jitendra Singh Bisen, the chief of Vishwa Vaidik Sanatan Sangh, who is leading the plaintiff side in this case, also reached gate number four of Kashi Vishwanath temple through Chowk police station along with his lawyer Shivam Gaur. In this case, the plaintiffs' four women also reached along with their lawyer.

Shops closed within 500 meters

Heavy police force was deployed around Gyanvapi Mosque for security. All shops within a radius of 500 meters were closed. DCP Kashi Zone RS Gautam claimed that care is being taken to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the visitors.

The lawyers of Muslim side also reached Gyanvapi Masjid. During the survey of the mosque, there was no obstruction of any kind, so that the administration was fully alert about it. No one was being allowed to even walk on the way from Bulanala to Vishwanath temple. The police administration had made tight security arrangements. The entire area was sealed.
