Heavy rains in Delhi cause waterlogging at the busy AIIMS flyover in Delhi

Monsoon in Delhi:

Monsoon has finally arrived in the national capital Delhi and at the same time, the monsoon has also become active once again in many states of the country. Heavy rains have started wreaking havoc in North India as flash floods in Dharamshala and landslides have already created huge destruction. 

While Delhiites were waiting for the monsoon for a long time, have received much heavy rainfall recently. And due to this, the AIIMS flyover in Delhi has been completely waterlogged, creating difficulty for people to travel through the busy route.

Delhi Monsoon date 2021:

The people of Delhi have got some relief from the heat due to heavy rains in many areas of Delhi and NCR. Many areas including Delhi's Karol Bagh, Paharganj, Rohini, India Gate, Akbar Road have received rain for some time. At the same time, it rained for some time from Faridabad in Haryana on Tuesday morning, due to which water-logging has occurred in many places.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), good rain can be expected from 16th July 2021.

Since morning, many areas of the capital Delhi have been cloudy. At the same time, light to moderate rain is also happening in many areas. Along with this, a red alert has been issued for many areas of Mumbai.
