  1. AS A TOP

Tara Sutaria wore a boned corset with lace detailing as a top and paired it with a matching pair of anti-fit pants, black boots, and matching hoop earrings in this look.

Corsets are also becoming a popular silhouette for designers looking to experiment with Indian wear. OR are you looking to spice up your Indian attire?

Manish Malhotra replaced the top half of an Anarkali with a corset and even made the garment backless in this look worn by Alia Bhatt.

Alia accessorised her corset Anarkali with dome-shaped jhumkas and a few gold rings.

Bhumi Pednekar was also seen wearing a chikankari lehenga with a corset-inspired blouse design. Tarun Tahiliani experimented with a corset with boning and handmade embroidery in this draped skirt set.

When styling a corset with ethnic wear or corset-design ethnic wear, choose statement ethnic jewellery such as jhumkas, bohemian or gold rings, Kundan headbands, and so on.

Is a corset feminine enough to wear with a skirt? Janhvi Kapoor demonstrates how. Janhvi Kapoor wore a lace corset top with a mini slit skirt and a white blazer in this look.

She accessorised her all-black ensemble with silver hoop earrings and a layered necklace.

Style your corset with a blazer and a monochromatic look to make it look format.

Bhumi Pednekar chose a corset to wear as well, but she styled it casually. The Bollywood actress wore a white t-shirt dress with a gold corset on top.

STYLE TIP: A great way to style a printed corset is with a plain T-shirt or a T-shirt dress.
