According to the Meteorological Department (IMD) , there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, parts of Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu on Thursday, 29 September 2022. On the other hand, parts of Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will receive heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 9 states of the country.
