Covid-19 vaccines through drones:

For the first time, the coronavirus vaccines were delivered by drone on Monday in Manipur. And with this, drones were used commercially for the first time in South East Asia on Monday.

The ICMR delivered the vaccines at a distance of 26 km by road from Vishnupur to Karang in Manipur which had 15 km covered by air, in just 12-15 minutes. The ICMR successfully delivered the corona vaccine through a drone to Karang Island via Lok Tak Lake in Manipur. This completely made-in-India drone flew in automatic mode and reached the place correctly.

Expressing happiness on the occasion, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that today, for the first time, commercial flying of drones has taken place in South East Asia. Congratulations to ICMR, Manipur Government, technical staff for this. It must be noted that the population of the Karang area of Manipur is about 3500, in which 30% have been given both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. In the upcoming times, there is a plan to deliver vaccines with the help of such drones in two more districts of Manipur.

Health Minister Mandaviya told that the Covid-19 vaccine has been delivered, and now even in emergency medical situations, life-saving drugs can be delivered through this. A spray of pesticide and urea can be done by such drones.

It must be noted that under the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, amidst all the difficulties and ups and downs, now India is going to touch the figure administering of 100 crore doses, but now the help of technology is also being taken to ease the difficult paths.
