India Heavy rains: The Mumbai rains have claimed the lives of 30 people, waterlogging in Delhi got a car to submerge in road

India Heavy rains:

The heavy rains in the country are wreaking another havoc as the reports of landslides and waterlogging are emerging from different parts of India. Recently, the reports of landslides have been reported from the Thane area of Mumbai, where five people lost their lives due to the landslides after being stuck under the rubble.

Out of the five people, four are being identified to be women, and the deceased are yet to be identified. The rescue operation is still ongoing in Thane. 

The heavy rains are being witnessed in Mumbai since Saturday night, and have caused landslides and collapse of buildings, which has now claimed the lives of around 30 people. At the same time, a ten-year-old kid got drowned in a drain in the Meera Road area.    

While at the Sector 18 area of Dwara, Delhi, a car got submerged in a road due to heavy rainfall as many parts of the national capital reported water-logging due to heavy rains.
