Investors from India and outside will attend the Global Investors Summit (GIS), which is set to begin on Wednesday in Madhya Pradesh, according to officials. The two-day summit (January 11–12) will be held at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore and will feature up to 19 parallel sessions on diverse topics, according to an official announcement from the state industries department.
The summit will feature special sessions on a variety of subjects, including IT, tourism, logistics and warehousing, infrastructure development in urban areas, agriculture, textiles and apparel, food and dairy processing, pharmaceutical and health care, natural gas and petrochemicals sector, renewable energy, automobiles and auto components.
On the second day of the summit, there will be sessions on subjects to attract investment to Madhya Pradesh, according to representatives of the industry department. The possibility of Madhya Pradesh exports, financial support for the construction of social infrastructure, and joint investments between India and the USA, Israel, and UAE group will all be discussed, according to the statement.
“India has become an attractive destination for investment where the path of ‘Reform, Transform and Perform’ has been undertaken by India since 2014,” the Prime Minister said addressing global investors in Indore.
