Two labourers murdered by terrorists

Common people in Jammu and Kashmir are constantly being targeted by the terrorists. In Kulgam district of South Kashmir, two non-kashmiri labourers were murdered by the militants on Sunday. As per the reports, both the labourers belonged to Bihar and terrorists barged into their homes and killed them. 

Emergency advisory issued by the Police

An emergency advisory has been issued by the police in the wake of regular targeted killings of Non-Kashmiri labourers since a few days. According to the advisory, all the non-Kashmiri laborers will be shifted to the camps of Police and Armed forces. Jammu and Kashmir Police has termed the matter serious and hence the advisory has been issued through letter.

On sunday evening, terrorists barged into a house in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir and opened fire against the labourers, who hailed from Bihar. During the attack, 2 people lost their lives while 1 incurred serious injuries. 

Since the beginning of the month, terrorists have been targeting common people of the Union Territory, during which a Kashmiri Pandit and people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were murdered. The killings have caused anger among people of the nation and the Central government is trying to frame strategy to deal with the matter. 

Also, after the killings, the armed forces have accelerated the number of encounters being carried on Terrorists.

Previous Targeted Killings

The targeted killings have increased since the beginning of the month. 

Earlier, on October 7 two school teachers, one Sikh and other Hindu, were killed by the terrorists in Eidgah and on October 5 a renowned Pharmacist Makhanlal Bhinru was shot dead in Srinagar. He was among those few people who didn't leave Kashmir in 1990s. Following the death of the pharmacist Bhindru, a street vendor was also shot by the terrorists. A carpenter was also murdered by the terrorists in Pulwama.
