Major accident in Delhi's Alipur, more than 4 workers died due to wall collapse

The wall of a Godown located in Alipur, Delhi collapsed. It is being said that more than 4 laborers died in this accident. Many people are still feared trapped. It is being told that 20 to 25 laborers were working in the warehouse at the time of the accident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, out of which the condition of 2 is critical.Debris removal work is underway at the site of the incident. 

How did the accident happen?

A godown wall was under construction in Alipore, North Delhi. At around one o'clock on Friday, this wall collapsed, in which all the workers present there were buriedA s soon as the information about the accident was received, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and started relief and rescue work.

A team from the Regional Response Center of NDRF Ghaziabad, Dwarka Delhi was sent to the spot. Nine laborers have been pulled alive from the rubble. The injured were immediately sent to the nearest hospital.

Huge crowd gathered

As soon as the news of the collapse of the warehouse wall spread, people started gathering. The NDRF team has also reached. The pillar is being removed with the help of a crane. Giving information, the police said that five people have died, and 14 people have been injured, who have been admitted to Raja Harish Chandra Hospital for treatment. Of these, 7 injured people are said to be out of danger, while the condition of 2 remains critical. Police administration is also conducting a rescue operation. Many more people are feared buried now.
