Lock upp winner and stand up comedian Munawar Faruqui who earlier on the Kangana Ranaut’s show was was receiving a lot of love, praise and votes apparently landed himself into trouble after making a distasteful joke on Canadian Pop star Justin Bieber’s facial paralysis who was slated to hold a concert in India this October as a part of his Justice world tour. Fnas are now lashing on him for mocking someone’s illness. Not only this but the comedian also ended up posting the same tweet on his Instagram handle as well but, that surely didn’t work for him very well.

It all happened a few days after Justin Bieber revealed that he is suffering from this rare disease called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome due to which his right side of the face is not working properly. Munawar tweeted a political joke interlinking both the aspects and said “ "Dear Justin Bieber, I can totally understand. Even here in India the right side not working properly." This came amid the ongoing political fracas in India involving Nupur Sharma’s case. Users criticised him for making fun of Bieber's facial paralysis after reading his tweet. Many others found it 'disgusting,' while others claimed it was inappropriate to make fun of someone's illness.

Justin before canceling his Toronto Justice tour schedule mentioned in the post that he won’t be able to perform due to his sickness and is resting as per doctor’s advice, but some fans were just to curious and frustrated with the sudden cancellations making the 28 year old pop star speak about his suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which also causes chickenpox and shingles. The virus is thought to infect the facial nerve near the inner ear in persons who have this disease.
