New Delhi: After the imposition of weekend curfew after the rise in corona cases in the national capital, now the private offices are instructed by the state government for a work-for-home basis except those exempt in new Covid curbs. On Monday, 19000 cases of the corona were registered in Delhi.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority today had a meeting to decide on new curbs and restrictions in Delhi. The surge means new restrictions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
The positivity rate is going above 5 percent for consecutively two straight days, Delhi faces "red alert" restrictions like a total curfew barring essential services, a shutdown of non-essential shops, malls, and salons, and more curbs on public transport, weddings, and funerals.
The curfew will be implemented completely, even on the weekends.
Shops and commercial establishments dealing in non-essential goods or services will be closed.
Malls, shopping complexes, and weekly markets will also be closed.
Restaurants and bars will be closed, but the delivery of essential goods will continue.
Hotels and lodges will be able to operate on the condition of not holding a banquet or conference.
Salons will be closed.

15 people will be allowed to attend funerals and wedding ceremonies.
