The INLD is in disarray after former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala was sentenced to four years in prison in a disproportionate assets case. Om Prakash Chautala's younger son and INLD General Secretary Abhay Singh Chautala has said that he will go to the High Court against the decision of the Delhi Court. On the other hand, Chautala's lawyer says that the sentence of four years imprisonment will be reduced to two years and four months.
After the sentencing of Omprakash Chautala, Abhay Chautala also reached the court. During this, he said that a petition would be filed against this decision in the Delhi High Court. He said that this decision of the court has shocked him.
On the other hand, Om Prakash Chautala's lawyer Harsh Kumar Sharma said that the reasoning given by us was the effect that instead of seven years, the sentence was awarded to four years. At present, the court has given concession in attaching the property. There are going to be holidays in the High Court, so efforts will be made to appeal as soon as possible.
Advocate Harsh Kumar said that the sentence of four years of Chautala's imprisonment would be reduced to two years and four months. The sentence period of two years and four months has been considered in the JBT case. Abhay Chautala said that he will discuss with his legal expert the decision given by the court just now.
