Parliament Winter Session 2021:
The winter session of Parliament is starting from today i.e. 29th November with various important topics and bills to be brought to the table. The most known bill of all the bills to be brought to the table in Parliament’s winter session seems to be the bill to repeal three agricultural laws.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will present the Agricultural Laws Repealing Bill 2021 in the Lok Sabha for the first time today. Even though the government has decided to repeal three laws, the Parliament session is expected to be an uproar over farmers' demand for legislation on Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops. The opposition parties have already supported the demand of the farmers and will try to corner the government on this issue on the very first day of the session.

The list of key bills to be talked about in the Winter Session include:
- The Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021
- The Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021
- Farm laws repeal Bill, 2021
- The Constitution (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2021
- The Mediation Bill, 2021
- The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Bill, 2021
- The Emigration Bill, 2021
Parliament Winter Session 2021:
The ruling BJP and the main opposition Congress have issued whips to their MPs to be present in the House today. Meanwhile, on the eve of the commencement of the Parliament session, 42 MPs from 31 parties participated in the all-party meeting. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not attend the meeting. In this month-long session, 26 bills will be listed for introduction in Parliament. The winter session of Parliament will run from 29th November 29 to 23rd December.
