Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Germany and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is going to be very busy. During his visit to Germany to attend the G-7 summit, Prime Minister Modi will attend 15 events and meet 12 world leaders. Official sources said that Prime Minister Modi will travel to Germany to attend the G-7 summit to be held on June 26 and 27. He (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) will also visit the Gulf country to condole the death of former UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on June 28. Prime Minister Modi will have a stay of about 60 hours in Germany and the United Arab Emirates. During this, he will participate in the meeting of the G-7, a grouping of the world's seven richest countries.
Apart from participating in the G-7 meeting, Prime Minister Modi will hold several bilateral meetings. According to Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Modi will hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of the G-7 and visiting countries. Germany is hosting the G-7 meeting. Apart from India, it has also invited Argentina, Senegal, South Africa and Indonesia as guests for the G-7 summit.
Ahead of his Germany visit, Prime Minister Modi said on Saturday that he would visit Schloss elmau at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Schulz. I would be happy to meet the German Chancellor there. PM Modi also told that he will exchange views with his counterparts on issues like energy, food security, fight against terrorism, environment security and democracy.
