President Election 2022: Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha intensify campaign

After the political upheaval in Maharashtra, now the eyes of the public are on the presidential election to be held in the country. While NDA's candidate Draupadi Murmu has intensified the campaign, Yashwant Sinha is also trying his best.

Yashwant Sinha started his campaign from Kerala. After this he reached Chhattisgarh, where there is a Congress government. Here he was asked by the media how he was sure of his own victory. Responding to this, he said, 'A lot of equations will change till the elections. Just go see it. During his earlier nomination too, Sinha had expressed confidence in his own victory.

Yashwant Sinha has got the support of many parties like Congress, NCP, TMC, CPI, CPI(M) Samajwadi Party, RLD, RSP, TRS, DMK, National Conference, CPI, RJD, Kerala Congress (M). Means Yashwant currently has about three lakh 89 thousand votes worth. All parties big and small in Kerala have supported Yashwant Sinha only. In such a situation, it is possible that NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu may not get a single vote from here.

NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu can start campaigning from Saturday. Apart from BJP, Murmu has till now BJD, YSR Congress, Janata Dal Secular, Shiromani Akali Dal, JDU, AIADMK, Lok Jan Shakti Party, Apna Dal (Sonelal), Nishad Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Republican Party of India (Athawale), Parties like NPP, NPF, MNF, NDPP, SKM, AGP, PMK, AINR Congress, Jannayak Janata Party, UDP, IPFT, UPPL have given their support. Despite being in opposition, BJD, YSR Congress, Janata Dal Secular, Akali Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party have supported the NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu. All of them have votes worth more than 6 lakhs.
