Salman Khan applies for gun license months after receiving death threats, reports

For the past few days superstar Salman Khan has been receiving constant threats claiming that he would be killed just like Sidhu Moosewala. Following which his protection was boosted. Salim Khan and his family had been threatened with death by the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang just a few days earlier. Salim Khan took his usual early-morning stroll. He discovered a letter that had been kept on the bench where he frequently sat. Where it was mentioned that he and Salman will face the same consequences as Sidhu Moosewala. And now Salman went on to meet the police commissioner.

In addition, Salman Khan requested a permit to own guns for his safety after getting threats. Salman Khan met with the Mumbai Police Commissioner today to discuss threats made against him and to seek updates on his security.

According to ANI, who cited an anonymous Mumbai Police official, the actor has applied in writing to the Mumbai Police for a firearm licence in order to protect himself from purported death threats. His visit on Friday was for official physical verification.

In the meantime, the Delhi Police special cell reported earlier on July 10 that mobster Bishnoi had issued a warning, saying that he and his tribe would never forgive Salman for killing a blackbuck during his early filming days.
