When Bola was denied admission in IIT because of his visual impairment, he studied at the international level. Bola became the first international blind student.
Bola started Samanvai Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities in the year 2011. Under this, those children who were struggling with multiple disabilities were given the facility to study. After this, in the year 2012, he established the Bollant company. Ratan Tata also gave him funding in this field. Many multiple disabled people were given jobs in this company. In the year 2018, the turnover of this company went up to Rs 180 crore. In the year 2016, Bola became the director of Surge Impact Foundation. In April 2017, his name appeared in Forbes magazine's 30 under 30 Asia, which was a huge achievement for him. Apart from this, Shrikant Bola did many things, for which he feels proud.
