Desmond Tutu was one of South Africa’ best-known figures. He was a contemporary of  Nelson Mandela. He was one of the influential leaders behind the movement to end the policy of racial segregation and discrimination enforced by the white minority government against the black majority in South Africa from 1948 until 1991.

At the age of 81Seven-Term Rajya Sabha MP, Mahendra Prasad died. He was from the Janata Dal(United). He passed away on Sunday night after battling a prolonged illness.
