UP Weather: Warning of rain and hailstorm in these cities including Lucknow-Kanpur. IMD Rain Alert

The capital city of Delhi and North-West India are going to experience more trouble after a little break from the hard winter following thick fog, and cold waves that began on the first day of the new year. Friday, witnesses rain in a number of regions throughout the state and Awadh, including Lucknow, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Amethi, Ambedkar Nagar, and Gonda. Hail also dropped in various places. Unseasonal rains have once more indicated a rise in cold.Hail also occurred in Lucknow and Gonda. According to the Meteorological Department, the period of drizzle and rain will continue in various parts of the state through January 27. 

Warning of rain and hailstorm in Lucknow-Kanpur

Yesterday at around 5.30 pm, there was a little drizzle in the capital, Lucknow.  The Meteorological Department had stated the expectation that as the night wears on, the cold would also get progressively worse. From Monday, there is a probability of light thunder and heavy rain in several parts of the state as well. People who are enduring a severe cold and cold wave were expected to get some relief after Friday's warmth. But it appears that if it starts to rain, the cold can return.
