New Delhi: On Sunday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted cold to severe cold wave conditions in many states during the next two to three days. It is also estimated that dense to very dense fog will prevail over parts of northwest India till 19 January.
The weather forecasting agency said that cold day to severe cold day conditions is very likely to hit Punjab, Chandigarh, Rajasthan Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh during the next two days and over east Uttar Pradesh during the next 3 days.
Also, a very dense fog over Rajasthan and East Uttar Pradesh during next two days and dense fog in Jammu division and Himachal Pradesh today and tomorrow (Sunday and Monday); over West Uttar Pradesh and north Madhya Pradesh during next 2 days, says IMD
In southern states of India, the IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall over Telangana on 16th, Coastal Andhra Pradesh on 16th & 17th January and over Tamil Nadu, Kerala during the next 3 days.
