Amitabh Bachan donates Rs 2 crores to a Covid care facility in New Delhi, DSGMC expresses gratitude

Amitabh Bachan donation:

Since the people of India are trying to curb the Covid-19 crisis while putting in all of their efforts, many people are coming forward to help the ones suffering during these difficult times. And amongst the ones helping others is the Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachan, who has recently donated Rs. 2 crores to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur COVID Care Centre established at the Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib to get through the coronavirus pandemic. 


The news was shared by the president of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, Manjinder Singh Sirsa on his Twitter account. He further shared that when Delhi was suffering from a big Oxygen crisis, Mr. Bachan would enquire about the progress at the facility on regular basis. While the Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Care Centre is a facility that was operational from Monday onwards with a capacity of 300 beds.


Sirsa in a series of tweets shared that Amitabh Bachan also arranged Oxygen cylinders for the facility from abroad. He said that that “He is not just a REEL Hero but a Real-Life Hero”.
