CM Yogi Adityanath to meet PM Modi today, discussions around the UP Assembly Elections 2022 expected

Yogi's two days Delhi visit:

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today at 11.30 am, considering upcoming next year's assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Soon after this, Yogi has also scheduled a meeting with the BJP National President JP Nadda. 

Earlier on Thursday, Yogi Adityanath has a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah. After the meeting of these two leaders, Nadda met the PM. It is being speculated that there may be some changes in the Uttar Pradesh government and organization before the upcoming assembly elections in UP, and these meetings are somehow related to the matter.

The meetings are expected to discuss the measures taken by the Uttar Pradesh State Government to curb the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and also the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022.  

Yogi's meeting with Shah, discussion with PM today

Earlier on Thursday, CM Yogi met Union Home Minister Amit Shah wherein the Home Minister advised him to take along everyone while moving further. As per the reports, the meeting between Yogi and Amit Shah discussed the equation for the upcoming assembly elections and also the search for new allies and effective faces. While these points are also expected to be discussed in the meeting with the Prime Minister and the BJP President today.

It is believed that with this meeting, a small cabinet expansion is possible in the UP very soon. However, the speculation has also intensified stating that the much-awaited cabinet expansion can happen at the center even before the elections in Uttar Pradesh.
