The Government of Delhi has recently canceled the 9th and 11th class examinations, as the decision was announced by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
As per the reports, private schools that have already conducted their mid-term and annual examinations can now declare the results of their students on the same basis.
However, the schools that have conducted only mid-term examinations and aren’t able to conduct their annual exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic, considering it government school or private school, shall declare 9th and 11th result on the basis of their mid-term examination.
While the schools that were not able to conduct even their mid-term exams, the students shall be promoted on the basis of the two subjects in which they have performed the best, and the mark sheet will be prepared by giving marks in the rest of the subjects.
The results of class 9th and 11th in Delhi government schools is most likely to be out on 22nd June which will be declared through online mode on the official website of the Educational Department.
Moreover, the students who weren’t able to give any exam, or appeared for only one mid-term exam, or appeared for their mid-term exams but couldn’t pass the exam will be given a chance again to appear for the exam.
It must be noted that these students will be assessed through re-assessment projects and assignments which will be conducted at the school level. Separate guidelines will be issued for such exams.
