Lockdown in Haryana: A complete lockdown has been imposed in many districts of Haryana adjoining Delhi. This announcement was made by the Home Minister of the Haryana Government Anil Vij after seeing the current serious citation of Covid-19 in the state. Anil Vij, informed that a complete lockdown has been imposed in Haryana for seven days from Monday, May 3 to 10 May. With this, the lockdown in several parts of NCR adjacent to Delhi will be effective from May 3.

The step was taken due to therising outbreak of Coronavirus and the government has taken strict steps to handle the worsening situation in Haryana. With this, many districts adjoining Delhi will be completely closed. Following are the districts of NCR which will be affected by the lockdown so the people coming to Delhi should take this into consideration.
The order states that people should stay indoors during the lockdown period. No person shall leave their homes and during this time, any road or public places should not be seen. Foot or motor vehicle and all the means of transport will be stopped. And people can not travel or visit public places.
However, there will be no restriction on the people engaged in the manufacture of essential commodities and the movement of both essential and non-essential goods and those appearing for the examination. Restaurants, dining places, hotels, dining joints or courts in various malls can only be open for home delivery. Exemptions are given to persons leaving or returning from airports, railway stations or ISBT.
Covid-19 infection is increasing rapidly in the Faridabad district. However, 1006 people also recovered from the virus on Saturday.
